I live in the Kingswood area of Lapworth/Rowington, a rural region with limited employment opportunities. The area is in the green belt and lacks public transport options, making it difficult to reach Lapworth train station. The local GP surgery is full, and Lapworth primary school cannot accommodate more pupils without a new school being built. The proposed developments threaten the character of the area, which includes a canal conservation area and many listed buildings. Additionally, existing infrastructure struggles with flooding and power cuts, and narrow roads cannot handle increased traffic.
