Infrastructure for water supply, sewage, electricity and broadband is only just adequate for existing small communities. Twice in the 8 years I have lived in Northend, Severn Trent has delivered bottled water to all households as supply failed. Waste water and rainwater disposal fails with flooding at the junction of Blacksmiths Lane and Long Lane, also at the junction of Northend Road and Knightcote Road. Electricity supply has failed several times and temporary generators have been in place within the past 5 years. Full Fibre to Property (FFTP) is not available.
