The new site has the potential to alleviate congestion in Stratford while addressing housing demands with minimal environmental disruption, protecting Green Belt land. Developing new settlements helps prevent urban sprawl and reduces pressure on existing infrastructure. The area also offers the possibility of a rail link through the Honeybourne Line and rail innovation centre. With sufficient space, key services such as schools and healthcare can be built as part of the community. Planning should focus on strategic opportunities rather than solely on land availability.
