Too close to the historic settlement of Knightcote in an area Historic England has designated as “remote”. Would severely impact rural life and the setting of the village.
Proposed site lies on wetland which regularly floods during winter months.
Local amenities such as shops and doctor’s surgeries would be severely impacted.
Severe impact/ destruction on the historic Salt Road (Knightcote Bottoms). Furthermore the additional strain on the existing rural road network around the proposed site would be unsustainable
Too close to the public amenity of the country park at Burton Dassett, the vista views from which would be severely degraded.
