The proposed development would engulf the rural and historic settlement of Knightcote.
The local rural road networks would not be able to cope with such an increase in traffic. The same is true of local amenities such as doctors’ surgeries, schools and shops.
The proposed development site is already prone to flooding.
The ancient and historically important Salt Road at Knightcote Bottoms would be engulfed by this development.
The view from the Burton Dassett country park (which is a major public asset) would be seriously degraded, turning a quintessential rural Warwickshire landscape into a suburban one
