Shipston has no train station and the buses are hopeless. Barcheston and Honington bridges are single track and very very old. The floods do cut them off. Shipston centre is already chaotic with traffic.
As employment is so reduced in Shipston, People will need cars to get to their work.
The recycling centre is so busy every visit has to be scheduled.
Despite a lot of work done by the flood defences scheme, the flooding is starting to win again. Another 2007 type flood now would be chaotic with the extra traffic. The Risk is increasing.
Schools can't cope.
