Southam has doubled in size and its character is now being lost. Whilst I support some limited development, this should be to the North West and South West of the town as it provides better links and accessibility to amenities/schools. The site to the North East is totally unacceptable due to:- flooding at the bottom of the site and development will make this worse; its non-connectivity to the town with the by-pass causing major safety issues for pedestrians; traffic flow accessibility into this site and it was taken out of the last SDC development plan as a recognised green space.
