The SWLP proposal is unacceptable, going against the Environment Secretary’s statement that new homes do not encroach on food production or farmland.

The A3400 traffic is already chronic, Stratford being regularly gridlocked, run-off from fields regularly causes flooding, urban sprawl development would exacerbate this. There’s inadequate infrastructure, the railway station has no parking and very poor service.

Bearley, an ancient hamlet surrounded by green belt has conservation status, includes listed buildings and a SSSI. It should not be subsumed into an excessive development which will have disastrous consequences for the environment and wildlife - once it’s gone, it’s gone FOREVER.
