The parcel of land west of the Evesham road absorbs much of the rain water run off before it enters shottery brook. Concreting over any of this area would excaserbate an existing flooding problem made worse by the already built Shottery housing scheme. Houses on Luddington road are experiencing more frequent, prolonged and deeper flood waters since the development upstream. I assume the rest of SG18 would be far enough away from this water course not to be a problem. I have photographic evidence of worsening flood issue on my property.
