I do not agree with the proposed strategic growth proposal for Shipston on Stour and surrounding area. Shipston has had more new housing development than was originally planned. As a result the schools, GP's surgery and road system cannot take anywhere near the extent of the housing proposed and the ensuring extra traffic. The bridges both at Shipston and Honington are single file and Grade 2 listed. In addition the local hospital has been demolished and not replaced with a hospital. The town is small and has no obvious employment opportunities for the extra influx of population.
