The area is Shakespeare Country bordering on the forest of Arden area. The urban sprawl connecting two historic villages will destroy the area character of both villages and damage the international tourist location. The impact upon traffic using the A46 and A3400 will be devastating, causing congestion on travels between Stratford-upon-Avon and Henley-in-Arden. The simplistic planning decision based on potential land offerings and Railway access have seemed to offer an easy path for the planners, ignoring all other considerations. The sprawling nature of the proposal offers no indication of a sensible community centre with ribbon development and excessive residential overcrowding.
