.. and amenities the majority of people will be reliant on cars to access town. This will exacerbate already unsustainable traffic levels. Clearly, any traffic access onto Kenilworth Road will have a devastating effect, and will inevitably overload Blackdown roundabout as has been witnessed during the recent cycle path and River Leam works. Notwithstanding such access the whole area will suffer gridlocks for longer periods of the day as the volume of traffic flow in/out of Leamington from the North is significantly disproportionate to the South (of river), where the main concentration of local business and industrial premises are located.
