Safeguarding the land of Stratford Greenway, land via Severn Meadows Road and Summerton Way to Stratford Town Station for possible future use as a rail link between Honeybourne and Stratford is a waste of time and resources. Reopening the line will never be economically viable. The Greenway should remain as a multi use recreational facility, wildlife haven and green space for locals and visitors alike and preserved for future generations. The area cannot effectively be shared with a reinstated railway which would cause major traffic problems, noise and air pollution and significant damage to the overall environment.
