There isn't currently any demand for new housing, as even houses for sale now, are not being sold very quickly. The current green areas, important for locals and visitors would be severely compromised or become non-existent. Net Zero Carbon could not be achieved during the build of large scale housing and infrastructure. The current heritage and cultural assets of the canals and old buildings would be impacted. Flooding is already a problem in Lapworth.
