Local services, schools, medical centre already under strain. Shipston is a small town already overdeveloped. Access and parking already difficult. Local buses infrequent, no station. Surrounding roads narrow and town centre parking difficult. Some of the proposals on flood plain. Close to or in Area of Restraint, and AONB. Access bridges at Barcheston and Honington are single track. Shipston green spaces are already inadequate for the number of people. The recycling centre is well used and contributes greatly to reducing landfill.
