This is green belt land that should be protected. It is not a good area for a sustainable community as it does not have adequate access to local transport hubs or shops. This agricultural land is needed for food security and should be protected. Our roads already struggle with traffic volume and a residential estate here would cause huge issues. This also protects the unique small villages in the area like Milverton being absorbed into the sprawl of the town. There is plentiful brown sites in town that could be used first.
