Loss of biodiversity - the site adjoins our local nature reserve
Loss of critical habitat for many varieties of animal, birdlife and insect life
Increased traffic levels, congestion and pollution. Local roads are at maximum capacity and chronically congested. Lowering of air quality levels.
Loss of valuable green belt land which has long established pathways for the local community to access the historic Welcome Hills and Clopton House areas (also used by the local school for educational purposes)
Increased flooding hazard to the Hathaway Gardens development and flood zones 2 and 3 due to hard landscaping
