Greenbelt land was developed for a reason. Those reasons are more important than ever. Not only to preserve and protect the countryside and wildlife but also to preserve peoples’ well-being and quality of life.
If there are Brownfield sites, these should be considered over Greenbelt land for development.
Urban sprawl must be safeguarded against.
The Clopton Quarter next to the Welcome Hills particularly needs protecting to preserve its unique natural environment and ecosystem.
