I strongly oppose the proposed housing developments in Shipston on Stour due to serious concerns over flooding, environmental protection, infrastructure strain, and lack of local employment. The town’s roads, public transport, and services are already under pressure, and further development would worsen congestion, increase flood risks, and compromise Shipston’s historic character. Additionally, the loss of essential facilities, such as the recycling centre, and the absence of support networks for vulnerable residents make this proposal unsustainable.
