I STRONGLY OPPPOSE the proposal to develop Bearley and Wilmcote into a new settlement.
I want to preserve Bearley's village character.
The area is unsuitable due to frequent flooding, impacting roads and the A3400 during heavy rain.
More houses would worsen flooding, affecting fields, the railway line, and existing homes.
The village infrastructure can't handle increased traffic, posing dangers to pedestrians and cyclists.
Development would destroy wildlife habitats and valuable greenbelt land.
The BW plans were ranked 8 out of 12 for suitability linked to sustainability which makes placing development in this area a really bad choice for the environment.
