I oppose the proposed housing development in Shipston, particularly between the Sports Club and Angela’s Meadow. Since moving here in 2015, I've observed significant issues: high flood risk, overcrowded schools, insufficient medical facilities, and lack of leisure spaces. The land in question was originally designated for children's football, and its loss means fewer local recreational options. Additionally, the area is prone to flooding, with existing drainage problems, and is home to protected wildlife. The Neighbourhood Plan designates it as a “Wellbeing Zone,” emphasising the need for preservation over development.
