FREQUENT FLOODING EVENTS, inadequate infrastructure re runoff.no places Local schools,, no sixth form. No Rail , buses limited. Health resources are unsustainable. There are no police, increasing crime. Employment minimal, leisure facilities insufficient, cannot support an additional 3,000 additional cars, the only river access being 2 ancient bridges.
Angela’s Meadow site is in Flood Zone 2 floods every winter. designated "Wellbeing Zone" in the Neighbourhood Plan. Development would exacerbate flooding downstream. overwhelms already overburdened sewerage systems. Sewerage pipes run across this land. The area is in an AONB buffer zone. the proposal is unsustainable, detrimental to Shipston's character and capacity.
