New development too often increases flood risk. Building Companies fail to understand the impact on the overall water table and drainage is insufficient.
Any new developments should be prioritised in areas where the risk of flood is the lowest. 2024 saw significant flooding in Stratford and any new elopements on green belt land would increase the risks
