Some logic to it as close to motorways, airport, job potential. However urban spread from Solihull needs to be stopped somewhere and M42 is obvious place. GPs, schools, hospital, flooding, traffic all problems in Hockley Heath already so how will large new developments work there? Who will pay for it all - Warwickshire or Solihull? Has to be well coordinated and agreed in advance if not to be a disaster
