Having spoken to many residents who have grave concerns about the targeting of rural South Warwickshire for homes to support other administrative areas my personal feelings are that this must be resisted and only agreed to on the basis that additional funding support for infrastructure will come from the authority with the claimed shortfall.
The evidence base for agreeing to additional housing provision should be made widely available to residents. Currently the calculations that give rise to the 'demand' in South Warwickshire due to shortfalls elsewhere are not transparent enough.
