Amendments to existing roads do not support proposals for making further developments net zero. The proposals are short sighted and insufficiently innovative, continuing to reinforce reliance on cars. This will continue to kill the population, whether directly through trauma or indirectly via noise, pollution and stress. This will continue to place additional unnecessary burden on both the NHS and public health policy.
