Strategic growth proposal BW, if accepted, would significantly contribute to local flood risk. The A3400 and surrounding fields already flood and natural land drainage angles towards Aston Cantlow already cause regular road closures doe to flooding. The proposal to build an additional c7000 houses on fields already known to flood regularly would significantly compound the impact on Aston Cantlow and surroundings further increasing impact on road usage and associated pollution.
