The proposal to build an additional c7000 houses in Bearley and Wilmcote would cause significant pollution due to construction and resultant increased traffic. Poor road infrastructure and an unappealing public transport offer will drive people to use cars, damaging the environment and with serious proven adverse consequences of or the health and wellbeing of local residents.
