A local development in Stratford-upon-Avon hasn't been implemented properly and surface water flooding occurs in unsuitable areas.
The cumulative effect of numerous developments has caused flooding to residential areas which date back 100+ years with little flooding impact until now.
All new developments should include swales, SuDS, water recycling within the site before discharging into the wider services.
New technologies exist that include combined utilities and tree pits as part of SuDS solutions - these should be included and the excuse of utilities routes prevent tree planting shouldn't be considered.
