Our property flooded 5 times in 5 months between May and September 2024 due to the poor drainage system in Northend and the overwhelmed downstream pump station. Other properties have also flooded and although we are in contact with the flood management team nothing has been done to prevent flooding happening again. Building more houses in the area will only add to the flooding issues in the village. In addition, the roads are narrow and there is inadequate infrastructure, transport, healthcare and education provision to support a large development.
