This location could be included in the plan provided a number of key requirements are met, namely (a) active travel to facilities in Kenilworth is prioritised, (b) houses are built to the highest levels of sustainability (as is being planned for the adjacent Rouncil Lane former school site), and (c) a community centre, green spaces, and play areas are designed in from the start. The development should be to create a new community, not simply to tack yet more 'anywhere' houses on to Kenilworth.
