The proposed site for over 6000 houses and industrial units between Bearley and Wilmcote is ill-conceived and will create huge problems in the locality and for surrounding villages. The traffic infrastructure of A3400 and A46 is hugely problematic at peak times now and traffic often backs up for miles at this roundabout. Even if millions are spent on road upgrades and compulsary purchasing of land/houses here, the issue is that thousands more cars will want to access the popular but small Stratford on Avon from the new development and long queues, traffic jams and bottle necks will worsen.
