The entire proposed settlement is in Greenbelt. Greenbelt makes a significant contribution to the openness of West Midlands Greenbelt. The arable land has a "good" rating. It is not "greybelt of brownfield The development would tie villages together and create urban sprawl. Site location would impact SSSI BearleyBushes. Neighbourhood plans for Wilmcote&Bearley don't support the creation of a new settlement.
