Building on Green Belt land would cause permanent damage to open spaces, lead to urban sprawl, and harm the Town’s historic look and green areas. This scenic spot is important to the community, offering a link to nature. Clopton Quarter, a Special Landscape Area, is clearly visible and full of history. Development would break historical connections, harm wildlife, and worsen air quality and traffic. It would also increase flood risk in areas prone to flooding. Protecting our cherished landscape and heritage is vital for future generations to experience.
