Objection - Clopton Quarter
The land provides a scenic walking and running area for local families, the development will cause irreversible loss of openness by introducing an urban sprawl into an area which will encroach on Welcombe hills and Clopton Meadow Reserve.
The development will affect key assets to the community mainly Clopton quarter which is a distinctive area rich in natural/cultural heritage benefiting local families. A development of this significant size will damage critical habitats including protected bats, barnowls, hedgehogs caused by increased light, noise pollution and loss of land for growth.
Development will cause worsen existing drainage issues.
