Around Wilmcote and Bearley there are huge flooding problems. Roads through surrounding villages such as Great Alne and Little Alne are impassable in high rain along with, at times, the A3400 between the Langley Road/Salters Lane crossroad and the Pennyford Lane/Pettiford Lane crossroad. I have not been able to get my children to Wootton Wawen School due to the A3400 and surrounding villages being flooded. Wootton Wawen is sometimes impassable too. Surface water on the potential sites is nearly always present. Concreting over these will make it worse. How will 10,000 more cars be able to navigate the flooding?!!
