I strongly object to the proposals for over 3,000 homes in this rural area. These plans would remove scarce green public space, destroy natural habitats, and increase flood risks in vulnerable areas. The existing infrastructure is wholly inadequate—local roads cannot support the construction or long-term traffic impact, and public services are already overstretched. Additionally, the local economy does not provide sufficient jobs, forcing long commutes that are environmentally damaging. This level of development is unsustainable and lacks community support. The plan must be reconsidered to prioritise responsible, infrastructure-supported growth that protects our environment.
