This site is totally unsuitable for housing for the following reasons:-
Speeding Traffic - The entrance is very narrow. Vehicles are often exceeding the 30mph speed limit. No pavement between Nightingale close and the Mother Huffcap pub.
Flooding- Spernal Lane often floods. Flooding on Spernal Lane means that route of access to the village is cut off.
Wildlife - The area surrounding Spernal Lane is full of wildlife. Hedgehogs are a Red Listed species. Development would pose a high risk of habitat loss.
