The High school is full with waiting list. Shipston has poor public transport links / road access to motorways. Our town roads are narrow and already very busy. It is essential to have a car which further impacts on traffic jams and pollution. Shipston is prone to regular flooding especially refs 148 747. &062. Shipston has very limited parking spaces and nowhere else to put any more and the town would lose its character. There are very few jobs in Shipston and local areas. The sewage systems are already struggling to cope especially since the recent new housing estates.
