* SGL23 is in direct conflict with many of the stated 12 Strategic Objectives and does not add positively to others
* Not proportionate in scale to Henley as it is today
* Would overwhelm the Town and its facilities, destroying its character and culture
* There will not be the local employment opportunities to accommodate the additional working age population
* Poor rail and bus links would necessarily mean many more cars thereby exacerbating an existing traffic problem and with an adverse carbon impact
* No exceptional circumstances justifying the release of Green Belt around Henley
