My objections relate to the Clopton Quarter parcel of land in SG18 specifically.The proposed development poses a serious threat to the Green Belt, encroaching on the Welcombe Hills nature reserve and diminishing valuable open space. It risks eroding the area's rural character, disrupting important wildlife habitats, and severing historical ties to Clopton House. Increased traffic on Birmingham Road would add to congestion and air pollution, while the site’s location in flood-prone zones raises concerns about worsening drainage issues. Prioritising short-term housing needs over the long-term protection of Stratford’s landscape, heritage, and environment would have lasting negative consequences for both residents/Visitors
