I believe the councils are prioritising housing development over necessary infrastructure upgrades in Shipston. The existing sewage system cannot handle increased population without risk of flooding and sewage issues. I experienced flooding at the Shipston bridge car parks, highlighting the urgent need for waste water and sewage system improvements before further housing is built. Additionally, the loss of the community hospital has left residents without adequate medical care, further exacerbating the situation as increased population demands more health services. I reject the current proposals for building sites until these critical issues are addressed.
