All proposals in Long Compton including 353 should not be automatically sifted out due to proximity of the Cotswold AONB. The village, and others, has been considered as a sustainable location for many years. The imposition of what is effectively a blanket ban is fundamentally misguided and is contrary to the guiding principles of the NPPF, which seeks to support development in sustainable locations, supporting existing services and communities.
