I strongly object to the proposed development of 8,000 homes in Hatton. The additional traffic from 16,000 cars, coupled with inadequate infrastructure, will lead to chaos and gridlock. Local services, including Warwick hospital, cannot support the increased population, and there are concerns about the rise in antisocial behaviour linked to social housing. The proposal threatens the rural appeal of Hatton, threatening economic decline and loss of productive farmland. Furthermore, it would disrupt wildlife habitats and corridors. While I acknowledge the need for housing, alternative non-green belt sites should be considered.
