I strongly object to the proposed settlement of 8,000 homes in Hatton. The area lacks adequate infrastructure, including roads, schools, and healthcare facilities, and will suffer from severe traffic congestion without a relief road. The existing hospital is already overburdened and cannot accommodate the needs of an additional 32,000 residents. Furthermore, this development would lead to increased antisocial behaviour, loss of rural appeal, and detrimental impacts on wildlife and the environment. I believe there are alternative sites available that do not encroach on green belt land.
