I formally object to the inclusion of Land at Hatton as a Strategic Growth Area in the South Warwickshire Local Plan. As a resident of Hatton Park, I find the plan for up to 8,500 new homes flawed, lacking essential infrastructure like schools and healthcare, and ignoring wildlife habitat concerns. Increased traffic and pollution are also significant issues. The focus on expensive housing does not cater to first-time buyers. I suggest utilising brownfield sites instead. I urge planners and councillors to refuse the allocation proposal due to the overwhelming strain on existing infrastructure.
