Roads into Wilmcote are extremely narrow, winding and already busy and hazardous with cut through traffic from A46 to A3400. Cars regularly land up in the ditch on The Ridgeway. There are no pavements on these roads. Flooding regularly occurs. The railway bridge already undergoes frequent repairs so is totally unsuitable for further heavy builders’ lorries using it and resultant traffic from developments. This traffic would vibrate on The Mary Arden House foundations. Station itself has very limited access to passengers and particularly disabled people. The A3400 itself is narrow and suffers from flooding and would need considerable work.
