o I feel it is not sustainable to build new houses on floodplains. The sites on Fell Mill Lane (Ref. 148,747) often flood, and the frequency of flooding has become much worse in recent years.
o Building on the floodplain will cause increased risk of flooding in Shipston on Stour and downstream villages.
o The proposed development would have a negative impact of local wildlife and is likely to cause the loss of protected trees, hedges and woods.
o Shipston needs more green spaces for the current number of residents (not less).
