I object to the inclusion of green fields at Lowes Lane/Walton Road (site ref 623) in the SWLP for several reasons. Wellesbourne has an approved neighbourhood plan reflecting the community's wishes, which should take priority. The current infrastructure struggles with the volume of traffic from new developments, causing issues like congestion and noise. The site is historically significant, featuring a medieval ridge and furrow, and is surrounded by public rights of way, limiting our green space. Additionally, access from roads without pavements poses safety risks for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers, particularly at the dangerous junction with Chapel Street.
