I am writing to express my objection to the proposed development SG24 in Hockley Heath. As a small village Hockley Heath does not have the infrastructure to support a development of this nature , particularly in terms of roads. The A34 going through Hockley Heath is already exceptionally busy and the turn onto the A34 from Old Warwick road is very difficult. A development on this scale would make the road network around Hockley Heath incredibly busy and therefore very damaging to the local environment and wellbeing of residents. Whilst I am mindful of the need to build more houses, the village could not sustain a development of this magnitude. In addition to the roads we do not have the supporting infrastructure of health, schools and transport that would be required. Please reconsider this plan to something more appropriate for the existing size of the village.
